Minoxidil is an expanded drug for blood vessels. This medicine relaxes the muscles of the artery walls, thus leading to the expansion of the blood vessels. Minoxidil is effective in balancing high blood pressure, which is a risk and balances blood pressure that rises sharply (rapidly). Because the effectiveness of this drug is stronger than most blood pressure medications, it is especially suitable for people who have not achieved a balance in blood pressure using other drugs. Minoxidil, like other vasodilators, may cause fluid retention and increase heart rate. Diuretics and beta-blockers are added to the diet, to increase its effectiveness and reduce its side effects. Unlike many medications that reduce blood pressure, dizziness and fainting are rare side effects when used with minoxidil. The main deficiency of this drug is its use for more than two months. Menoxidil promotes hair growth, especially on the face. This problem can be eliminated by shaving the face or removing the hair. With this side effect, preparations have been developed containing minoxidil for topical treatment of baldness.

Instructions Take Minoxidil
Method of handling:
Tablets, lotion and spray for the scalp.
Number of doses:
Tablets: once - twice daily. Solution: twice daily.
Dosage:
For Adults: Start 5 mg / day and gradually increase the dose until you reach the maximum dose of 50 mg / day.
Start of event:
Within one hour.
Duration of the event
Up to 24 hours. Part of the effect of the drug may continue for 2 - 5 days after discontinuation. When the drug is used to treat baldness, it may take several months to notice the full effect of the drug.

Storage and preservation:
The medicine should be kept in a tightly sealed container in a cool, dry place out of reach of children.
Forget the dose:
Should be taken immediately upon recall. If you have to take the next dose within 6 hours, take one dose now and leave the next dose.
Stop medication:
Do not stop taking the medicine without consulting a doctor, as this may aggravate the disease.
overdose:
Excessive overdose will probably not cause any problems; several large overdoses can lead to nausea, vomiting, heart palpitations or dizziness. You should inform your doctor.
Warnings when taking Minoxidil
During pregnancy:
The safety of use of pregnant women has not yet been determined. Cases of congenital defects were reported after they were exposed to medication during pregnancy. Consult your doctor (C).
Breast feeding:
The drug is transferred to breast milk, but when taking regular doses, it is unlikely that there will be any negative effects on children
Children and infants

Elderly:

Driving:
You should avoid the procedure until it becomes clear what the effect of the medicine is, as it can cause blurry.
